Anne of green gables book set


I love the stories of Anne of Green Gables and would give them five stars without reservation. This box set has a good value: eight books for around $ 23. However, the box they come in is disappointing. It is made of very thin cardboard and is almost half an inch too wide for the books it contains. As a result, the sides folded when it was wrapped in film and are still slightly folded and curved after being discarded.

If you think books are good value on their own, you probably won't be disappointed, but if you're looking for the added value of a nice box to put them in, keep looking.

The hardcover edition is adorable. The book is easy to hold and the pages are kind to the eyes. Saving the best for last, the book is absolutely wonderful !!!!!!!! 

I laughed out loud and cried too. The book is beautifully written and the story is fascinating and very welcome, especially in our day. It is extremely descriptive and reads quickly. Dear Anne (with an "e") and her best friend, Diana, will warm your heart for a long time with the other characters in the book. SUPER good reading !!!!! I am so happy to have found this copy on Amazon !!
